James Hannigan: EA Composer Series Volume 1 & 2 Released. Featuring music from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (BAFTA Nomination for Music, 2010; IFMCA Award, 2010). Originally, these soundtracks were commercially released under their respective Harry Potter series titles, even briefly topping Amazon’s online soundtrack charts. However, they were later withdrawn following the termination of Electronic Arts’ license to create Harry Potter games after the film tie-in series concluded. While these new soundtracks have lost their official Harry Potter game origins – especially in terms of track titles – they are still welcome releases!
