James Hannigan Featured on Is This What We Want?

James Hannigan is one of 1000 artists featured on Is This What We Want?, a newly released 2025 album made up (almost) entirely of recorded silence. The project is a protest against the use of unlicensed copyrighted work to train AI, with its track titles suggesting that The British government must not legalise music theft to benefit AI companies. Proceeds from the album will go to the musician’s charity Help Musicians. NBC NEWS REPORT.
